It’s not like any other night

An not like any other birthday

But just like the last few ones

It doesn’t go as planned

I wish I were still a child

That gets excited on a specific day

Like this one

When you’re not supposed to

Because you’re getting older

And being old is not fun

Because childhood is gone

And all things stress you out

But for one day

Let me be a kid again
