Were you or was I lying?

Because if we were what we said we could be

Then we wouldn’t have gone this road instead

Do you still remember the oath on our first times?

If you said the truth

I guess things would’ve been fine

I guess you would’ve stayed

At least longer, at least better

If I were lying

I guess I would be relieved by now

I would feel no remorse

But what am I now to choose what I am?

I guess my destiny was chosen by you

Like you were some kind of fate determiner

And I was what?

Just another sweat in summer

I guess now you’re happy though

Therefore I’m happy for you

Because that’s my oath to you

Because I do still love you

Not like how I loved you before, no

You proposed to stay friends, no?

So I stick to what you said, too

I hope that also you would do

Have a peaceful life without me

I guess I understand why things happened

Our relationship was rocky and jagged
