My Uniquely Unknowin’ World
It’s pretty unique the world I live in.
Things are covered, people refuse to get in.
I’m out here looking out for something to believe in.
And feelings, depression, sadness come swinging in.
Seems like it’s only something people like to sing in.
It’s funny, most people don’t even know the state I’m in.
They only know depression, in economy though that’s in.
Others only trust exorcism and God they believe in.
But sadly I hate economy and my faith is so thin.
They’re in heaven, I’m at the grave looking in.
My close friends? Nicer than the’ve ever been.
And most of them probably only ask “what do you mean?“
And I won’t have an answer, something they’re disappointed in.
Oh, wait, apparently everyone would also be askin’
Exactly the same question they were askin’
“What do you mean?“, “God, what do you mean?!“
In the end it all comes down to the feeling of not knowin’
My family thought I’m nice and all, I’m livin’
They all think I’m out here catching stars, dreamin’
But as I said, it’s pretty unique the world I live in.
And we all come down to the feeling of not knowin’
