Goodbye

I probably should’ve said my proper goodbye.

To her that now blocked me

To him that now has a baby,

To everyone that ever left and abandoned me,

I probably should’ve said my proper goodbye.

Not just bye and gone.

Not just blocked and move on.

I should’ve said my proper goodbye.

But as if…

As if I knew people would leave…

As if I knew they’d do that to me…

As if I had the intention to push them away…

As if I deserved to be left like this…

As if I knew when and why and what then…

But I still should’ve said my proper goodbye.

But not because they’re going, because I’m staying.
