Dying Alive

What is it to life when living feels like dying?

Well, technically everyone is dying at the moment.

Somebody that works hard is actually dying.

Somebody that cooks is dying.

Somebody that does nothing is dying.

But why do we, sick people, feel the most dying?

Why don’t we feel empowered by the thought of death?

Why do we instead feel scared by it?

Is it so beautiful to live that dying is a no-go?

Is the chance to live so beautiful that you can’t let it go?

Why is dying something sad rather than happy?

If somebody were dead because of their sickness,

they’ve got the freedom from their sickness,

logically you should be happy. They’re freed.

But I know, I know.

It’s the feeling behind it all that makes it complicated.

Yeah, feelings make things complicated.

But feelings also make it especially complicated when it comes to death.

It makes the reason not too big for me.

Though I was close to reach my freedom.
